In this episode, I go into the details of a great payware aircraft that I use (and no I don’t get compensated for saying good things about it). This is the Airfoillabs Cessna 172. I really enjoy this aircraft as I find it has a very realistic flight model. There are so many benefits to flying a great plane in X-Plane 11 that I wanted to share it with you. Don’t get me wrong, the default Cessna 172 is great, but it is missing many features that I find are built into the Airfoillabs plane.
This goes for the flight model as well. The default is great and pretty realistic, however it does not feel as realistic as the Airfoillabs plane. If your interested in this plane, you can find it at Airfoillabs’ website or you can find it at X-Plane.org.
