Hey everyone and welcome to the VR Flight World Podcast. Glad to have you here. In todays episode, I want to introduce you to a new section of VR Flight World. I also have a quick VR Flight World tip for you at the end of the episode.
So, here it is, the new member of the VRflightworld family. ShopVRFlightWorld.com. You may ask, why I added this to VR Flight World and the reason is that it is difficult to find flight simulation gear on the internet. I want to bring flight simulation gear into one spot that is well organized and easy to navigate. This is one of the problems I have found when looking for flight gear. Most of the websites are hard to view and are not well organized. So, I hope you guys enjoy the new addition.
As we have just released the new site, we have only added a limited number of products. Mind you, these products are not your average products. These products are incredible, but they are not for everyone. In fact, I still maintain that someone starting out in flight simulation should get their feet wet with the Logitech Yoke and Rudder Pedals. Now, if you have a few extra dollars or are very serious about flight simulation, then it may be time to upgrade into something more robust. At this time, the serious flight simmer should definitely take a look at ShopVRFlightWold.com.
Currently the equipment I carry is designed and created by Virtual Fly. The yoke and rudder pedals are made almost entirely out of metal and are for the serious simmer. In fact these are actually approved by the FAA.
Now, like I said, not everything is for Virtual Reality. The reason I say this, is because I have several flight panels in the lineup. If you have listened to my podcasts in the past, then you will know that full cockpits and flight panels don’t work great for VR. essentially the cockpit is a bit of a waste when in VR. But we all don’t fly in VR and that is why I wanted to include this. Now, these panels are absolutely amazing and I couldn’t leave them off my site. Again, these are for the very serious flight simmer or even the flight school. These panels have working gauges and look like you are sitting in a cockpit. Pretty amazing.
Now, this episode is a bit selfish, as I really just want to give you an update on what I am up to. As I am giving you updates, I also wanted to let you know that you will see more podcasts and even some videos coming out in the near future. You should see a bit more consistency in the near future. Not sure how often I will be releasing episodes, however they are in progress.
